[h=1]Cars.com: 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Is Best for Families[/h]by HYUNDAI IN THE NEWS on JANUARY 17, 2014

According to one of the country’s top online auto-shopping resources, the best “Family Car of the Year” isn’t a car at all: It’s the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Hyundai’s compact crossover recently earned that honor as part of Cars.com Lifestyle Awards, where it impressed website judges with:

  • “Loads of high-tech and luxurious features packed in at a very competitive price.”
  • “The massive panoramic sunroof that makes riding in the backseat pure pleasure for kids and adults alike.”
  • Rear seating that “thoughtfully slides back and forth up to 5.2 in. and reclines as well, giving families more flexibility when installing child-safety seats.”
  • Amenities such as heated front and rear seats, with an also available ventilated front row.
  • A “zippy and fun turbocharged engine and surprisingly athletic ride.”
Scott Margason, director of Product Planning for Hyundai Motor America, said: “The new Santa Fe lineup reinvents the way we think about family vehicles, offering kids and parents an optimal driver and passenger experience. The 2014 model delivers premium technology and safety features like Blind Spot Detection and rear parking assistance while still offering a suite of amenities the entire family can enjoy. It’s the perfect CUV for the modern day family on the go and we’re pleased the Cars.com editors recognized that.”
Families who want the award-winning benefits of the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in a larger, three-row package also can rest easy, since Cars.com also named the Sport model’s big brother, the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, its Best New Full-Size SUV of 2014.
