brake lights won't go off

2002 Hyundai Accent, 1.5L 4 Cylinder
I replaced my old battery today, now my brake lights won't go off....but the car cranks up just fine.

This problem is caused, sometimes, by a non correct clamping of the battery.
Check the clamping on the positive electrode and turn the key.
The ABS warning light should be off, otherwise do a check-up workshop.
