Consumer Jackpot: Cars.com Names Azera ‘Best Bet’

Hyundai continues to up the ante when it comes to quality, with the reinvented 2012 Azera recently earning “Best Bet” status in the Full Size Sedan segment from the experts at Cars.com. The honor only goes to vehicles that post average or better fuel economy within their segments, display average or better reliability, and get average or better scores in third-party crash tests. In addition, Cars.com editors must explicitly endorse each Best Bet as vehicles they would actually pilot themselves.
And while that may seem like a fairly tough set of criteria, the Azera is just one of six Hyundai vehicles to make the Best Bet honor roll, including:

• Hyundai Elantra—Compact Sedan
• Hyundai Sonata—Midsize Sedan
• Hyundai Genesis—Luxury Car
• Hyundai Genesis Coupe—Sports Car
• Hyundai Tucson—SUV/Crossover

“The redesigned Hyundai Azera offers a roomy cabin, great value for the price and solid reliability,” said Patrick Olsen, editor in chief at Cars.com. “This vehicle and the others from Hyundai that we have named a ‘Best Bet’ are vehicles that any of our editors would drive.”
In addition, it’s worth pointing out that the Azera also delivers the best EPA rating in combined driving in its class, as part of an overall fuel-economy line of 20 mpg city/29 mpg highway/23 mpg combined.
