If there’s one thing the viewing public has learned from season 2 of AMC’s The Walking Dead, it is that a Hyundai Tucson makes one fine zombie apocalypse survival car.
In a very, VERY, obvious bit of product placement, the survivors of Walking Dead get a little help from their brand new Hyundai Tucson crossover. Each episode, they’re featured performing a multitude of post-end-of-days tasks with the help of this Korean hatchback.

Let’s recap: The Tucson is great for comfortably seating five, traveling long distances between rural towns (thanks to high MPG ratings), hauling everything from weapons to camping gear and lumber, it even makes a great vehicle for getting cozy in. Hey, the world needs to be repopulated somehow!
It took all season, but this week’s finale was the only time the Hyundai got any walker blood on it. In fact, the car was covered, also proving that Hyundai is great for running over undead creatures with best in class suspension.
No matter how many hoards Glen ran down (don’t bother with Asian driver jokes, Daryl covered that in the episode too), there was not a scratch, dent, or chipped piece of glass on the Hyundai.
When zombies attack, get to the high ground, and find yourself a Hyundai dealership. You won’t regret it.
