Sono rimasto allibito!
Il rotolino di cartoncino è classico nelle candele ngk, denso o qualsiasi altra candela.
Ma nelle mie, come vedi, è di plastica trasparente e rigida.
Quando le ho prese io provenivano dagli usa ed erano perfette.
L'involucro che ho ancora è in plastica rigidissima e sono fissate in modo perfetto, quasi da esposizione.
Tutto mi diceva: QUALITA'
Master, che dire: ... LA SFIGA.
Infatti ero anch'io tutto felice e in trepidante attesa perche' anche a me tutte le immagini che avevi postato dicevano QUALITA'.
Temo che d'ora in poi tutte le candele pulstar saranno prodotte in messico, come dice l'articolo che poi postero'. Penso pero' che sia il caso di fare la voce grossa con la Pulstar, perche' tutto cio' e' inammissibile. No dico, avessero dimezzato anche il prezzo, oltre che la qualita'..
Io avevo preso 2 serie di denso iridio ma avevano una copertura di plastica rigida proprio come le tue pulstar, non di cartone.
Ci rimango incredibilmente male!
Spero che almeno funzionino come devono... perchè a questo punto il dubbio credo che venga!
E infatti... se dentro sono fatte con la stessa "precisione" con cui sono fatte fuori... e la durata?
Quanto hai speso in tutto?
Ma le hai prese tramite ebay? se non vanno fai contestazione... digli che il prodotto non è conforme alle specifiche e che risulta non funzionante, e che caspita.
Si le ho prese su ebay, e pensa che gli avrevo anche lasciato il feedback positivo... adesso glielo darei negativo di brutto. E' un venditore del new mexico, proprio dove ha sede la pulstar e dove producevano le candele, quindi un venditore "di casa".
questo e' quello che ho speso, +18€ di tasse, totale 101 euro per 6 candele. Se le avessi prese su apwonline come sempre e non mi avessero beccato alla dogana avrei speso sui 75€ per 6 candele, ma era un momento che mi piaceva ebay..

L'elettrodo di massa e' terribilmente deforme e sproporzionato, e' troppo lungo e va ben oltre l'elettrodo centrale, facendogli da tetto. mi sa che lo raddrizzo e poi lo limo un po' per accorciarlo, sperando che il gap non diventi eccessivo, ma guarda cosa mi tocca fare...
Questo articolo dice che la produzine e' stata trasferita in messico in uno stabilimento della honeywell/autolite, che definiscono "allo stato dell'arte", che per uno stabilimento in messico e' una contraddizione in termini. Forse lo stato dell'arte sara' sul risparmi dei costi di produzione...

Unique Drop-In Replacement for Spark Plugs to be Manufactured in State-of-the-Art Facility

(November 6, 2010) — Ignition products company ENERPULSE, Inc. announced today that the Enerpulse, Inc. proprietary Pulstar® pulse plugs will be manufactured by the Autolite business of Honeywell Consumer Products Group (CPG), in their state-of-the-art facility. The Pulstar plugs, utilizing innovative energy management, deliver more than one (1) megawatt of ignition power to improve the combustion process in internal combustion spark ignited engines (ICE).
Louis Camilli, President of Enerpulse, Inc. states, "The Honeywell CPG Autolite plant in Mexicali, Mexico was selected from a number of potential suppliers due to their ability to produce the technologically advanced plug in high volume in keeping with our specifications. This was essential in the decision as we expand into the marketplace and further our engagement with the automakers." Manufacturing of the proprietary Pulstar® pulse plugs is scheduled to begin in January 2011.
